Welcome to NH&G

Northern Hardware & Glass (Pty) Ltd is a proud company which has been involved in the glass industry since 1978.

For the past 33 years we have expanded our business to include 12 branches, specialising in Retail, Wholesale and Manufacturing. Three of the directors have the combined experience of more than 90 years in the glass industry, on both national and international level.

Our manufacturing technology is constantly being updated, specialising in value added glass products, using state of the art equipment in our factories to streamline our processing.

We pride ourselves in unsurpassing quality, innovation and strict levels of standards on all our products.

Northern Hardware & Glass (Pty) Ltd are permit holders of the following South African Global Conformity Services (SABS). The undermentioned quality markings are on our product range:

Mark 1191 - Safety glass for vehicles, high penetration-resistant laminated safety glass for vehicles.
Mark 1263 - Safety and security glazing materials for buildings.
Mark 1193 - Toughened safety glass for vehicles
BS 6206 - British Bureau of Standards on toughened glass.

We are also a member of the South African Glass and Glazing Association (SAGGA) as well as AAMSA.
